Janda Baik is criss-crossed by cool, clear and shallow mountain streams, which beckon all visitors to admire and enjoy.
The most accessible of these is the Sungai Benus, the main river running through Janda Baik. There are many picnic spots along the length of the river, but the further upstream you go (towards the east), the purer the waters will be!
These rivers are public property, so you can enter them at any location. However, renting one of the very reasonably priced gazebos on offer along the length of the river will ensure you the easiest access into the river, some welcome shelter, and the use of the proprietor’s toilets!
Remember to always take upmost care about the cleanliness of our rivers, and to watch your children while they are playing in the water!
